The Museum of Screens is an interactive exhibition on the history of web games. The player can explore the museum at their own pace, looking at the permanent and temporary exhibitions about the history of web games. There are also several interactive activities, a gift shop and secrets to discover.

The Museum of Screens started in 2019 as a Twitter account sharing web games from the past. I wanted to explore the world of solo game making, web games from the past, present and future. With the end of Flash, and the changement of the Internet, many games are lost, or at risk at being lost. The stated mission of the museum is to preserve the history of those games, and the people who made them.

The virtual exhibition started as a side project. I wanted to make a fake computer interface with ASCII graphics, to make a pseudo-3D mazes. It evolved over time, with better graphics, improved performances and more content updated regularly.

In October of 2023, with the help of artist Alicia Luna Ripp, the Museum partnered with Bitsy and Adam Le Doux, to organize a game jam and launch in parallel a temporary exhibition dedicated to the free game making tool.
