OldComputerArchive.zip

A puzzle game taking place entirely in the file browser of your computer. It takes the form of a folder containing several zip files locked with passwords. The player has to search in the files and solve puzzles in order to find the password to unlock them and progress in the file tree until you reach the end.

This is the first game I ever released, back in 2017 on Touloutoumou.com, then on Itch.io. It was featured on the Itch.io frontpage, and featured on Warpdoor and PC Gamer. Creating this game was a very interesting challenge, because it didn't use any programming, every mechanic being the basic features of a computer. I conceived it as an escape room, with each folder being a room, giving new clues and keys to unlock the next one.
